If you have trouble syncing the Polar app on your smartwatch with the Polar Flow app on your phone, here are some tips that might help you solve the problem:

Android phone users

The Polar app on your M600 syncs your training and activity data with the Polar Flow app automatically. For the automatic sync to work, your phone and M600 need to be connected via Bluetooth or your M600 needs to be connected to a Wi-Fi network when your phone has an Internet connection.

Make sure you've got the latest version of the Polar Flow app on your phone and an up-to-date software on your M600.

Make sure the Polar Flow app is running on your phone and you’ve signed in.

The Polar app on your M600 syncs your training and activity data with the Polar Flow app automatically when you complete a training session, if you get an inactivity alert, and when you reach your activity goal. For the automatic sync to work, you need to keep the app running in the background.

Make sure the M600 is active in the Polar Flow app on your phone.

To check M600 is the active device in Polar Flow app

  1. Open Polar Flow app.
  2. Go to Devices.
  3. The red circle next to the device image indicates it is the active device.

If you have more than one Polar device paired with the mobile app, you can swipe right and left to see more of your devices. If some other device, and not your M600 is active, you can tap the white circle on the right hand side of the device information to activate your M600.

If you’re using Bluetooth to sync the Polar app with the Polar Flow app, you need to make sure Bluetooth is turned on in your M600 and that the Wear OS app has a Bluetooth connection to your M600.

To turn Bluetooth on in your M600

  1. Swipe down from the top of the home screen of your M600 to access the Quick settings menu.
  2. Tap the settings icon.
  3. Tap Connectivity.

If you see Polar M600, Trying to connect…:

  6. Wait for the smartwatch to find available Wi-Fi networks, and tap the one you want to connect to.
  7. If the network you chose requires a password, tap Enter on phone. On your phone, enter the password for the Wi-Fi and tap Connect.

To check Wi-Fi is turned on in your phone

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Make sure Wi-Fi is switched on.

Restart both the M600 and your phone.

To restart the M600

  1. Press and hold down the side power button until the Polar logo appears.

To restart your phone

  1. Press and hold the power button.

Reset the Polar M600 to factory settings.

If any of the above tips didn’t do the trick, you can try unpairing and resetting your M600.

  1. In the Wear OS app on your phone, open Settings.
  2. Under the Device settings, tap Polar M600.

  4. Confirm the unpairing by tapping UNPAIR WATCH. This will also reset your watch.

  1. Open the Wear OS app on your phone.
  2. To finish pairing the M600 and your phone again, follow the instructions on the screen or see the instructions in the M600 user manual.

Remember to connect the Polar app to the Polar Flow app again to finish setting up your M600:

  1. Open the Polar Flow app on your phone.
  2. Choose whether you’ll wear the M600 on your left or right wrist, then tap Continue.
  3. You'll see 'Setup completed' when you've successfully reconnected the Polar app on your M600 to the Polar Flow app on your phone.

To restart the M600

  1. Press and hold down the side power button until the Polar logo appears.

To restart your iPhone

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until a slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn the power off.
  3. After your phone turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple logo.

Reset the M600 to factory settings.

If any of the above tips didn’t do the trick, you can try unpairing and resetting your M600.

  1. In the Wear OS app on your phone, tap the three dots at the top right corner.
  2. Tap Pair with new wearable.
  3. To finish pairing the M600 and your phone again, follow the instructions on the screen or see the instructions in the M600 user manual.
